More About Me

Hi, I’m Eric Morriss, a full service Broker-Associate at Coldwell Banker Realty. As a full service Broker-Associate I'm able to help my clients buy or sell Residential as well as Commercial and Investment properties.

I started my career in real estate straight out of USC as a Commercial Real Estate broker in the early cell phone era of 1990. Back then, I looked so young and inexperienced that it was difficult at first to establish myself as someone people could listen to and trust regarding their real estate. After all, I still looked like a kid. However, I had the good fortune to have a few good mentors early on that taught me to do a few things in life well: one was to master and continue to learn about my craft, another was to always add value whenever/wherever I could and the third was to always go the extra mile for those I love and serve. Despite looking like “The Graduate”, by applying these principles and a lot of effort, I not only survived, better yet, I became a valued asset to the people I did transactions with. As a result, I quickly climbed the ranks within my firm and built strong lifelong relationships with many of my clients back then as I still do today, something I value dearly.

I’m no longer that young kid out of college and I certainly look older now, but I still practice these principals and have a lot more experience and knowledge to draw upon, especially in negotiations. Every transaction is different and I treat them as such, with the utmost care to the particular details of each one, doing my absolute best to produce the best possible outcome for my clients. While my primary focus now is on Residential properties here in the South Bay of Los Angeles, my home since 1999, I represent clients throughout the state in both residential and commercial transactions and I even help clients find appropriate brokerage help in states that I’m not licensed. Whatever it takes, I’m your go-to professional.

From my first commercial lease in 1990, to my first residential sale in 1998, to selling investment properties, to selling wholesale and retail data center space, to residential and commercial development/land entitlement work, I’ve built up a knowledge base few brokers have and even fewer here in the South Bay. I’d love the opportunity to help you buy or sell your home (or just about anything) and I’ll do my absolute best to earn your business and perhaps even become lifelong friends, hope so anyway…

When I’m not selling real estate you might find me surfing, playing soccer or golf around Manhattan Beach or lending a hand to my favorite charity, The P.S. I Love You Foundation.
